Our medical services are provided by Quality Correctional Care based in Muncie, IN. In addition to medical care for inmates (physician, 84 hours a week nursing coverage, Dental) they also provide a Mental Health Counselor 24 hour weekly Institutional Mental Health.
In-Well a Boone County Mental Health provider as part of a Recover Works grant provides 24 hours weekly counseling. In-Well counselors focus on inmates 90 days prior to their release. This allows them to build a relationship and hopefully the inmate will continue once released from our facility. In-Well also provides to release inmates medical assistance and in the future they hope to provide transitional housing.
